I stumbled across Joe Gilder's blog over at Home Studio Corner.com and within minutes was hooked. Joe has a well organized web space loaded with some incredibly helpful tips for a newbie like myself.

I downloaded his free eBook 31 Days To Better Recording and shall take the time to go through each stage of this easy to follow suggestion list. What can it hurt?

Beyond all of this goodness, Joe Gilder is an amazing musical talent. Check out his album he wrote, recorded and produced titled Out of Indiana. Simply put, you won't find a bad song on the entire record.

Answer: The left hand on the keys.

Although I play piano I don't have a left hand when it comes to holding down the rhythm. The left hand holds piano songs together and will ultimately be the reason you will be tapping your foot to these tunes. I am practicing but these guys have mastered it.

I was that annoying kid you sat next to in elementary school who couldn’t stop tapping his pencil on the desk. I was also that annoying kid you sat next to in middle school who couldn’t stop tapping his pencil on the desk. And yes, I was that same annoying kid you sat next to in high school who couldn’t stop tapping his pencil on the desk.

There’s always a beat in my head. Whether I am tapping the sides of the kitchen sink, the dash of my caravan, or the pencil on my teacher’s desk I am unable to stop the beat that is in me. That’s probably why I can’t stop watching STOMP videos.
